Statistical Study - Honors Contract

Updated: Feb 18

I utilized real-world datasets to conduct Chi-Square and ANOVA tests using a software called Statcrunch. Since these tests were not covered in class, I conducted additional research to learn how to perform and analyze them. I presented my findings to the physics department board through an oral presentation. The project details can be found in the .pdf file below.

Reflection: This project expanded my knowledge of statistics, as the topics I researched weren’t covered in class. I learned how to grasp difficult concepts on my own and became more comfortable asking my professor for help or guidance when needed. Since I had to present what I learned to the board of statistics, it was a great experience to share my knowledge with people already familiar with the subject. It also helped me become more confident when presenting the topics I researched.
