Reflection: Working on a research project like this really expanded my interest in a topic I wasn’t familiar with. Ink analysis was something that was only briefly covered in the past, so I enjoyed diving deeper into the technical aspects of it. To help write this paper, I reached out to the Indiana State Police Laboratory to see if they had any books or resources I could use. They did, and contacting them also gave me the chance to meet some people in the field.
